Jeremy Menez's second-half strike fired Paris Saint-Germain to a 1-0 victory over Lyon, sealing the third Ligue 1 title in their history. Carlo Ancelotti's side needed three points on Sunday to end a run of 19 years without a league triumph and, after a frustrating first half, they were relieved to see Menez's 53rd-minute strike hit the back of the net.

The Frenchman provided a clinical finish at the end of a flowing move involving Thiago Motta and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, firing his fifth goal of the season low beyond Anthony Lopes to secure the victory.



Paris Saint-Germain sealed the third Ligue 1 title in their 42-year history thanks to a 1-0 victory over Lyon on Sunday.

Jeremy Menez's second-half strike, after fantastic work from Thiago Motta, sealed the three points PSG needed to end the challenge of Marseille and give them their first league title since 1994.
